the first burn + it’s importance

the first burn of your candle is essential
you must allow your candle to burn
long enough for the wax pool to reach
the edges of your vessel

this is to ensure even burning,
optimise burn time + to avoid tunneling

this can take up to 4 hours
however, never keep your candle lit for
longer than 4 hours

regular usage of your candles

to optimise your candle usage + experience,
it is recommended to burn your candles for
at least 2 hours once you’ve completed
the initial first burn

it is best to allow the wax pool to reach the edges
with every burn to optimise scent throw

always keep your wicks trimmed by removing
the ‘mushrooming’ or burned top

this helps prevent a large flame
+ smoke

never move your burned candle
after extinguishing
be sure to allow your candle
to completely cool + harden
before moving

storing your candles

when not in use,
store your candles in a cool, dry place
away from direct sunlight + heat sources



if your candle has a box or a lid,
it is preferable you use these
to help preserve it’s scent throw
+ to of course protect it from dust

glassware can be wiped clean with
a microfibre cloth,
warm water + a splash of
white vinegar
